A Different Kind of Auto Shop

Shop Experience

Customers come first

Walk into our shop and you'll see what we mean. A clean, organized space where every detail is taken seriously, because how we care for our space tells you how we care for your car.

We invested in the Hunter alignment system because it's the most accurate one made. We built a comfortable waiting area with free coffee and a TV because your time matters.

And we explain everything in plain language because you deserve to understand what's being done to your vehicle and why.

AC Repair

A properly working AC system keeps you comfortable and helps maintain clear visibility in hot or humid weather. We diagnose weak or warm airflow, refrigerant leaks, unusual noises, and other AC problems, then explain what your vehicle actually needs before any work begins.

What's included:

  • AC system inspection and diagnosis

  • Refrigerant pressure and temperature checks

  • R-134a and R-1234yf recharge service

  • Leak detection

  • Compressor, condenser, and blower diagnosis

When to come in: AC blowing warm, weak airflow, unpleasant smells, unusual noises, or cooling that works intermittently.

Every AC service starts with a Performance Check. Refrigerant and repairs are quoted separately based on your vehicle and what the system needs.

Brake repair service icon

Brake Service

Your brakes are the single most important safety system in your vehicle. We inspect, repair, and replace brake components with quality parts and precise installation — so you stop confidently every time.

What's included:

  • Brake pad and rotor inspection and replacement

  • Brake fluid checks and flushes

  • Caliper and hardware service

  • Squealing, grinding, or vibration diagnosis

  • Parking brake adjustment

When to come in: squealing or grinding noises, soft brake pedal, vibration when stopping, or simply if it's been over a year since your last brake check.

A car is lifted on a mechanic’s workbench with the front wheel removed, exposing the brake caliper and rotor. Tools and equipment are scattered on the work surface, indicating ongoing repair or maintenance.

Engine & Transmission Repair

Major repairs deserve major care. From small leaks to internal repairs, we diagnose engine and transmission issues thoroughly — and tell you honestly whether a repair is worth it for your car. No pushy upsells. No vague estimates.

What's included:

  • Engine diagnostics and repair

  • Transmission diagnostics and service

  • Fluid leaks (oil, coolant, transmission)

  • Timing belts and chains

  • Mounts, gaskets, and seals

  • Cooling system repair

When to come in: unusual noises, fluid leaks under the car, rough shifting, loss of power, smoke from the exhaust, or overheating.

Every repair starts with diagnosis and a written estimate. No work begins without your approval.

Wheel Alignment Service Icon

Hunter Wheel Alignment

Wheel alignment is our specialty. We use a Hunter alignment system to set every angle within manufacturer specs, helping improve handling, tire life, and how straight your car drives.

What's included:

  • Full 4-wheel alignment with Hunter system

  • Camber, caster, and toe adjustment

  • Tire wear analysis

  • Steering wheel centering

  • Printed before/after report

When to come in: car pulls to one side, steering wheel off-center, uneven or rapid tire wear, or after hitting a curb or pothole. Most cars benefit from an alignment check once a year.

Standard 4-wheel alignment: starting at $120. Larger trucks and specialty vehicles vary.

Oil Change service Icon

Oil Changes

Clean oil is the cheapest insurance you can buy for your engine. We use quality oils matched to your vehicle's specs, replace the filter every time, and include a complimentary multi-point inspection — so you know what's healthy and what to keep an eye on.

What's included:

  • Conventional, synthetic blend, or full synthetic oil

  • New oil filter

  • Fluid top-offs

  • Tire pressure check

  • Free multi-point inspection

When to come in: every 3,000–5,000 miles for conventional oil, or 5,000–10,000 for full synthetic, depending on your vehicle and driving conditions.

Oil changes start at $85, full synthetic (up to 6 quarts)

Suspension and steering service icon

Suspension and Steering

A tight, responsive suspension keeps your car comfortable, stable, and safe. Worn suspension parts make your ride harsh, your tires wear unevenly, and your steering feel vague — we fix the root cause, not just the symptom.

What's included:

  • Shocks and struts replacement

  • Control arms, ball joints, and tie rods

  • Power steering diagnosis and repair

  • Sway bar links and bushings

  • Wheel bearing service

When to come in: clunking or knocking over bumps, drifting or pulling, uneven tire wear, bouncy ride, or steering that feels loose.

Serving Drivers Across Orange County

Based in Santa Ana, we serve customers from Tustin, Orange, Irvine, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Westminster, Newport Beach, and the surrounding areas. Easy to find at 1726 S Grand Ave and worth the drive if you're looking for an honest mechanic.

Honest about what we don't do

A few things you should know before you call:

  • No body work or major collision repair. We focus on mechanical work and don't paint, dent-repair, or restore body damage.

  • No SMOG check certification. California SMOG inspections require a separate state certification we don't currently hold. We can repair emissions issues — but the official SMOG check itself needs to be done at a STAR-certified SMOG station.

  • No salvage vehicle re-certification. Cars with salvage titles being restored for road use need a special Brake & Lamp inspection that we're not licensed to perform. We can do the mechanical repair work, but the certification has to happen elsewhere.

If you need any of the above, we're happy to point you toward trusted shops we work with. We'd rather refer you out than waste your time.

Not Sure What Your Car Needs?

Start with a free visual inspection.

The inspection is a complimentary 30-minute check. The inspection is intended to check visible items such as brakes, tire condition, fluid levels, oil change needs, coolant levels, and any visible leaks. We’ll tell you plainly whether something needs attention or whether you're fine to keep driving.

No charge, no pressure, no work done without your approval. You'll leave knowing exactly where your car stands.

What we check:

  • Fluid levels

  • Shift quality and response

  • Brakes

  • Visible leaks or wear

  • Overall drivability

Every inspection ends with the following answer: repair it now, watch it, or leave it alone.
